Claudia’s Reserve is a careful selection from the grapes of our best Quintas. We do not follow a recipe, the composition will vary from year to year as we express what nature gives us. This white wine is slightly oaky and rich like pastry and cream, but beautifully balanced by a clean acidity and mineral finish.

Beautiful fresh and pure nose, ripe pears, pastry and floral notes.
Rich entry on the palate, slightly oaky with notes of fresh almonds, pastry and cream. Nice and clean acidity to balance and support the flavours profile, lingering mineral finish with pears and citrusy notes. Pure and balanced.

Viticulture:
2020 was an unusually hot year in all seasons but with sufficient levels of precipitation, giving rise to good, albeit rapid, maturations. Sustainable and dry farming. The harvest started in August and was short and quick, once the grapes reached the ideal moment of maturation.
Fermentation:
The grapes were gently pressed, the must slowly fermented in barrels with regular battonage in order to perfectly integrate with the oak.
Aging:
Matured for 8 months in new and used (50% new, 25% 2nd use, 25% 3rd use) 500-liter French oak (50%) and Hungarian oak (50%) barrels.
