This reserve Ruby comes from our organic vineyards at Quinta da Trovisca. As the vineyards are in healthy competition with its surroundings they produce less quantity, but the quality we receive is so worthy! You can taste the results in this Port wine of great intensity and purity.
Deep ruby with purple edge
Complex nose of black currant, dark chocolate with exotic notes of sandalwood and black pepper, elegant and balanced.
Soft, fresh, pure and mellowed entry on the palate filled with black and red fruits, perfectly ripe. The mid-palate is complemented with refined and elegant tannins leading to expressive aromatic finish with floral, spicy and dark chocolate notes.
This ripe, sweet and jammy Port is full of black fruits and soft tannins. Stewed berry flavors give acidity to the generous fruitiness and texture. Drink now. Organic.

Viticulture:
Organic hand-harvested grapes from Quinta da Trovisca vineyard. This is a family-owned vineyard dedicated to organic production, planted with the traditional red grapes of the Douro valley, dry farmed and vertical planting on the plateau of São João da Pesqueira.
Fermentation:
Fermented on the native yeasts in stainless steel tanks with temperature control.
Aging:
Once most of the natural decantation is finished, this Port is blended with Ports from other vintages for bottling. Average of 3 years in stainless steel. Pad filtration at bottling.
