Fruity entry filled with young red fruits, good structure for a rosé. It calls for food, great balance between fruit and acidity.
A rich Touriga Nacional rosé, with tangy red fruits and a bite of pepper and layers of acidity. The wine is fresh and textured. Drink now. — Reviewed by Roger Voss on May 2023.
The 2021 Oscar’s Rosé is all Touriga Nacional, very dry and coming in at 13% alcohol. Bright, elegant and perky, this is light but not hin, flavorful but never sweet. Showing off the Touriga well without becoming eccentric, this has blue fruits on the nose and the palate, always in a dry and balanced fashion. This seems like a different wine than the bigger 2020, but in its own style, it substitutes wonderful freshness and elegance. This is very nice. The winery is a becoming a force to be reckoned with for well-priced pinks that have some distinction. Let’s lean up here for the moment.
