Winemaking Details
Viticulture:
In 2024, the Douro Valley saw a balanced growing season, with a cool, wet winter replenishing water reserves and a mild spring ensuring even budburst. Summer brought steady warmth and low disease pressure, supporting gradual ripening. A late heat spike was managed through careful canopy work, resulting in healthy, concentrated fruit of exceptional quality. Overall, 2024 promises elegant, structured wines with vibrant acidity and refined tannins.
Fermentation:
Fermentation in small open tank (lagar) with no temperature control and gentle extraction for 10 days , preserving character of the variety.
Aging:
Aged for 11 months in 500L oak barrels.
