Winemaking Details
Viticulture:
2024 in the Douro Valley had a cool, wet winter, followed by a mild spring and steady warmth in summer, allowing for gradual ripening. A heatwave in late July was managed with canopy management. The harvest began in early September, and the season suggests wines with elegance, structure, and vibrant acidity.
Fermentation:
Grapes were hand-picked, chilled, and gently pressed. After cold settling, fermentation occurred in stainless steel at 15°C for 15–20 days, with regular bâtonnage to build texture.
Aging:
Aged in stainless steel tanks with bâtonnage for 4 months to preserve vibrancy and enhance mouthfeel.
