Winemaking Details
Viticulture:
The 2025 wine-growing season in the heart of the Douro was marked by a hot, dry summer, which favored steady ripening and excellent grape health. Despite moderate yields, the vines produced fruit of great concentration and aromatic intensity. Stable conditions during ripening allowed for a remarkable balance between richness and freshness. The 2025 wines reveal depth, structure, and character, authentically reflecting the identity of the Douro. Winemaking: Grapes were hand-harvested, cooled to 8–10°C, gently pressed, and fermented at 15°C in stainless steel tanks, with lees contact for 15 to 20 days.
Aging:
Kept in stainless steel tanks until bottling, with frequent bâtonnage for 4 months.
