A very limited quantitiy was produced with our best grapes of the 2005 harvest. Bottled 2 years after the harvest, the Vintage Port will keep developing inside the bottle and your patience will be rewarded after a few decades.
Dark cherry color
Ripe fruit evocative of black plum and redcurrant. Earthy and well balanced with a touch of dry wood. Raspberry and violet flower flavor emerges with a lovely hint of minerality.
Balanced and voluminous with very good tannins. Sweet oak combined with dried fruit such as fig, plum or date. Persistent and unique finish.

Viticulture:
2005 represented a huge test for the vines' heath due to a very dry winter followed by a hot summer. The berries were small and very concentrated.
Fermentation:
Totally destemmed grapes followed by a slow fermentation with temperature control up to 28ºC degrees. Unfiltered. Bottled in October 2007.
