AROMA

Complex nose of red cherries, cherry jam, dark chocolate and a touch of black pepper.

PALATE

This young ruby shows nice gentle tannins and slightly dry mid palate. Perfectly balanced, the pure flavours of young red fruits, spices and chocolate cascade successfully to a beautiful finish.

Winemaking Details

Viticulture:
Hand-harvested, sustainably-grown grapes from owned and sourced vineyards.

Fermentation:
Totally destemmed grapes, followed by a slow fermentation on the native yeasts.

Aging:
Aged in stainless steel tanks without contact with oxygen. This Port was blended with Ports from other vintages for bottling, making an average of 3 years aging time. Soft filtration at bottling.
