Colheita

1974 is a historical year for Portugal. It marks the end of the dictatorship and very few colheitas were produced in this year. This is an historical gem preserved in our cellar over 3 generations of Port wine makers. Produced by our grand parents in the traditionnal way, fermented in granite mills, it is a very special Port to celebrate a landmark.

After all the years in wood, this is a rich gold toffee wine that is in a magnificent condition. Its richness is balanced by spice and by impressive acidity and concentration. The wine still has amazing freshness. Drink now.
