Oscar’s White

Light, with citrus and green-apple flavors, this wine is fresh and packed with fruit. It could do with further aging to restrain the fruitiness and tangy texture. Drink the wine from 2023. 

The 2021 Oscar’s Branco is a screw-capped blend of Gouveio (37%), Viosinho (33%) and others, all unoaked and coming in at 12.85% alcohol. (Kudos to the winery for being transparent about the blend right on the label.) Fruity and fresh, this is a clean and pure white that should go well in warm weather and on its own. There’s not a lot of energy, but it has a sunny demeanor and tastes great. Drink it on the younger side for best results. It’s worth leaning up for the moment.
