Q Grande Reserva Red 2023
In each edition of “Q”, we select our best grapes from the local varieties. We harvested the grapes when the berries were firm, succulent and full of aroma, creating a generous and balanced wine to accompany a rich table in the celebration of great deeds with family and friends.
TASTING NOTES
Colour
Medium-intensity ruby
AROMA
On the nose, it reveals pronounced aromatic intensity, marked by notes of violet, raspberry, red plum, vanilla, clove, and a touch of licorice.
PALATE
On the palate, it shows high acidity, fine and elegant tannins, balanced alcohol, and medium body, delivering equally expressive flavor intensity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of fruit and spice. It can be enjoyed now, but it also has excellent aging potential.

Winemaking Details
Viticulture:
The weather in 2023 can be defined as a hot and humid year. Average temperatures stayed above the long term average for most of the months until August. It was a generous year in terms of rain, with December 2022 and June clearly above the average. This trend for above average rain extended to the harvest time, which was not very welcomed by us.
Fermentation:
Fully destemmed. Fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, with temperature control of 22-24ºC. Daily deslastage was performed for the first 7 days of the fermentation.
Aging:
Aged in 500L French oak in new, second and third year barrels for 12 months, racked twice.
FOOD PAIRING
Grilled meat, steak tartare
