AMI, a Portuguese Non-Governmental Organization, will set up a forum denominated “Meeting of Cultures – Hear to Integrate” from May 21st to May 24th 2009, in Lisbon, in the facilities of the ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute. This event marks the XXV anniversary of the institution and has the collaboration of Fundación Academia Europea de Yuste, headquartered in Extremadura, Spain, a foundation with cultural and social interests.
With the organization of this forum, AMI launches the bases for a debate about the coexistence of different religions and cultures and at the same time AMI obtains funding for the development of its activities. The organization of this first event has the purpose of setting up annually this meeting, alternating between Portugal and Spain. During the opening session Quevedo’s Special Reserve Tawny Port will be served. It is a honor for us to support this events!

A AMI vai realizar o primeiro Encontro de Culturas Ouvir para Integrar, de 21 a 24 de Maio de 2009 em Lisboa, em instalações cedidas pelo ISCTE – Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa. Este evento está inserido nas comemorações do 25º aniversário da AMI e conta com a colaboração da Fundação Academia Europea de Yuste, com sede na Extremadura, Espanha.
Com a realização deste fórum a AMI procura criar um debate sobre a convivência de diferentes culturas e religiões ao mesmo tempo que poderá angariar fundos para o desenrolar da sua actividade. É objectivo da organização tornar este encontro anual, realizando-se alternadamente em Portugal e Espanha. O Porto Quevedo Special Reserve Tawny será servido no Porto de Honra.
