At 648 metres above sea level, between vineyards and mountains, a new table awaits in São João da Pesqueira.
It is called ROGA and is born within our winery, from the meeting of Fernando Gomes’ cuisine and the Quevedo family.
The name has deep roots. In the Douro, a roga brought people together to work the land and the vineyards — many hands, voices and a spirit of mutual support that often ended around food, wine and stories shared.
It is this spirit that we now bring to the table.
The cuisine takes inspiration from the Douro, its seasonal produce, recipes and local memories, giving them a contemporary expression. At the table, wine continues the same conversation: the wine list features exclusively Quevedo wines, produced just a few metres away.
For lunch, ROGA offers an à la carte menu. For dinner, guests can choose from the à la carte menu or enjoy a tasting menu.
