The first day of Vinexpo is over and I have to confess I was expecting more visitors. During the morning there were very few people. After lunch more people came over our stand to try our Ports and Douro wines. Our stand is integrated in the IVDP’s general stand as many others Douro producers. The big Port shippers have their own stands. There are few other Douro producers with stands on the Viniportugal area.
There is a zone reserved by the IVDP for Port Innovation, where a waiter offers Dry White Port and Rosé Port. Very interesting iniciative, where our Rosé Port can be found. Besides Quevedo’s, three other producers have Rosé Port: Croft, Cruz and Poças. From what we have seen and heard, Rosé Port is being very well accepted and most young people love it.

O primeiro dia da Vinexpo chegou ao fim e devo confessar que esperava mais visitantes. Durante a manhã houve muito pouca gente. Depois de almoço houve mais pessoas a virem até ao nosso stand para provar os nossos Vinhos do Porto e Douro. O nosso stand está integrado no stand geral do IVDP, junto de muitos outros produtores. Os maiores vendedores de Vinho do Porto têm stands independentes. Há ainda outros produtores do Douro com stands na zona da Viniportugal.
No stand do IVDP há uma zona destinada às Inovações com Porto, onde uma simpática menina oferece Porto Branco Seco e Porto Rosé. Iniciativa interessante, onde também se pode provar o nosso Rosé. Para além do Quevedo, há três outros produtores de Porto Rosé: Croft, Cruz e Poças. Pelo que tenho visto e ouvido, o Porto Rosé está a ser muito bem aceite e o público gosta muito.
