Wine tasting of Quevedo wines in Vinixá

February 28th 2009 is going to be a very good opportunity to taste our wines outside the Quevedo’s winery. It’s going to be in Vinixá, a wineshop in Santa Maria da Feira. We know that it is not always easy to find our wines. We are a small winery, with a commercial distribution network developing as fast as it can, though it is still reaching few consumer/distribution points. We are working on that, but it takes time.

Thus, since a couple of weeks ago we have our wines available in Vinixá, a wine and tea shop in Santa Maria da Feira, a city 30 km southern of Oporto, Portugal. Since we met Vitor Mendes some months ago we have been working in a close cooperation. After Christmas, Vinixá started to have our Port and Douro wines available for sale. We have also decided to set up a wine tasting so the Vinixá clients can try our wines.

If you live close to Santa Maria da Feira, Oporto, Aveiro or somewhere else and have never tasted our wines this is the moment. My sister Cláudia Quevedo will be there to explain how the wines were made and also to indicate some fine pairings. See you there and don’t forget to say hi to Vitor or to Fátima!
